Both of them show up promptly at 5 pm at our kitchen door for their dinner and meow and hiss as we all walk with the food to their feeding stations. They eat together for a few seconds then one goes to the other bowl. It’s adorable, my favorite time of the day. We are very happy with the whole episode and our rat problem has been extinguished. I have not seen any new rat droppings and damage to my vegetables seems to have ceased. Thank you!!

I live in an old town house with a flat roof in Los Angeles. We see rats around the house and sometimes hear them on the roof. They make quite a racket.

I tried traps, poison and even ultrasonic devices but none of them worked, so I contacted Voice For The Animals and found out about their Working Cats® program. It has been a great success.
The Working Cats® expert came to our house with two cats that she set up in two cages in our yard. She also brought dry and wet food and litter and litter boxes. It was my family’s job to feed the cats and clean the litter boxes. After about three weeks, the cats were let out of their cages.
It’s been three months since we got the cats and we haven’t heard any rat noises. They told me that the rats know the cats are there and don’t come around, so there’s no dead rats to dispose of.
This is a wonderful program and I highly recommend it.

I adopted Mordecai and Rigby from the ACCT Working Cat Program and I’m so glad I did! Before they arrived, my property was overrun by mice. I tried using traditional extermination methods, but nothing seemed to work. Now, Mordecai and Rigby have all but eradicated the mice.
Adopting and acclimating the cats was very easy. Alley dropped off the cats and two loaner acclimation crates within a week of my sending her my questionnaire along with some pictures of my property. She also checked in with me each day during the 3-week acclimation process.
I would highly recommend the ACCT Working Cat Program to anyone looking for an outside cat (or two or three) to help rid their property from any unwanted critters. Not only will you be giving these cats a second lease on life, you will be gaining a new friend.

Gretta still does not like to be touched, but she came and had a drink with me this morning on the side porch while her boyfriend took a snooze nearby! She gets along so well with our “Little Red”, and they are practically inseparable! My husband has pet her a couple of times, but for the most part she enjoys social distancing. So thankful for the working cat program that helped us find her as we couldn’t imagine our family without her! We love our “working”(mostly vacationing) kitties.

Zelda, Ganondorf, and Link are all content hanging out. We have even spotted them PLAYING and couldn’t be happier they get to live their best life. They let me slide food in the Kitty Castle without freaking out and running out the alternative exit, although sometimes I still get hissing. Also, we find a disturbing number of dead rodents around now. Definitely earning their keep!

Adopted my terrified feral girl early June, KitKat. After a month of not seeing her (safely contained in garage after escape of crate day 3 & knew ok as eating/drinking, using litterbox), adopted a friendly boy named Tux I thought might help her. He was placed in the program as an outdoor cat due to litter-box use refusal & has a chronic URI. It was indeed love at first sight & she was out of hiding at last! Tux loves human attention & through his example KitKat has made Amazing progress! Have been working to improve his health, he’s put on weight, coat thick & healthy. She still startles but will sniff my hand. She is the awesome mouser I desperately needed! Showing him how to hunt too. They are so cute, very lovey together. I am so grateful to Lollypop for the Working Cat Program! For their new happy & safe lives, and for my happy heart having them in mine!

The squirrels ate all the wiring in my attic and that’s why I wanted the cats. I never had any problem with rodents until my outdoor cats past away. I found Whiskers-N-Paws a few months later and we place a total of 4 cats on my property. All is well!

Our two cats, Figiro and Arwen, are doing great! They have fully taken over our backyard and we love them for it. It has been one of the highlights of our summer. Our yard is pest free and they are doing a great job of settling in. Figgy, the younger, smaller one, adores Arwen the bigger, all black kitty with electric yellow eyes. Arwen seems to like her protege and takes her along for the evening. The neighbors all know to look out for them and know they are “working” when they are out on the prowl. The neighbors love it! Figgy delights my two kiddos with her antics and they are all working on getting closer to each other. My husband often takes work calls on the backyard couch and the two cats keep him company from the other couch.

Please pass on to everyone that the two (now grown kitten/cats) are thriving. We call them Doc and Annie. They live in their Kitty Condo safe in the barn (locked in at night) and come out during the day happily exploring around the house but fortunately do not wander far. All of the ranch dogs, particularly our old lab, adore them. We have decided she always wanted a kitty to play with and she and Doc are often found together, Doc gently batting Rosie’s face, while Rosie nudges him around with her nose. Annie remains fairly shy. She is clearly no longer afraid of people but she doesn’t invite cuddling. They delight in stalking things, but have truly not really learned to hunt. On the rare occasions Annie catches a mouse she usually drops iot in her bowl, clearly inviting me to clean it, cook it, and return it to her bowl in a form she considers food….that of course doesn’t happen. I just dispose of it

The opening went great. We are obsessed! Bear was more tentative to come out but now they have both made themselves right at home.
They are getting much more comfortable! They wait at our back door each morning, and we will sometimes see them at night because they are starting to learn we will run outside to feed them treats!

The kitties are doing great here! They are very happy and they make our customers very happy. They have become a very important part of Papa Cristo’s family!
